I like it being sophisticated and creative. The only negative is that the logo is too tall, so it's hard to put this on a letterhead without losing a lot of space.

It's creative and seems to fit the company.

It is too colorful for my company logo, but I thought it was memorable to include the graphic within the name.

We prefer modern and spare design, similar to what you might find in Berlin or Melbourne, Australia. Some recent examples are attached, but by no means do you need to restrict yourself to those. In addition, note that the definition of amity is "friendship" or "goodwill," so perhaps there is a way to incorporate that spririt into the branding.
