TARGET AUDIENCE: target group is black & latino new yorkers, immigrants, drug users, homeless, low-income and other marginalized groups

The logo is part of a re-design for a new york state-funded center whose primary objective is to reduce stigma related to mental health care especially for minority and low-income communities of NY State.
There are several audiences for the new branding and the new website, including: will Resource Providers; New York State legislators and officials; New York City legislators and officials; mental health professionals in Private Practice; and, mental health patients.
The new branding we're looking for should feel “innovative” but not academic. The important message that should be conveyed is that mental health is anything other than a disease and that it should not be stigmatized.
Some of the words mentioned by the new team running the Center were: “substance,” “innovation,” and “forward-thinking”.
