The Festival is described as “Get A Taste of Fun!” - the 3 major components are Food, Entertainment, and Family Fun. There are many Jamaican Food vendors, featuring performances by top international reggae bands, cooking tips from experts, sample tasty treats and much more. These festivals occur in numerous markets including Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Washington DC, NYC
Historically the festival attracts more of a Carribean audience (15k per event) and we are trying to make sure it is more universal and inviting other cultures so it's not perceived to be just for the Caribbean audience. The festival needs to exude an aura of high end and open to all cultures.
We want the logo to look modern but still exude fun. We also want to make sure that the tagline is incorporated so people have a full understanding of what the festival is when looking just at the logo since it will be used in many places before the event.

We want the primary logo to only to include "Jamaican Jerk Festival" with the tagline. However, Grace Foods is and has been the title sponsor so its technically its the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival - whatever logo we create will have to also incorporate the "grace food logo" on top so we need to make sure that whatever logo we create can mesh well with the Grace logo. We would ask to incorporate it all together but want to keep a little separation in case Grace is no longer the Title sponsor in the future.
