UPDATE:I have seen several designs and none of them are simple enough. I would like a green background similar to the color of Regions Bank logo (not the letters "Regions" but the mark. Women will be making the decision to use my services so the logo needs to be a bit more feminine. I would also like it to be simpler. Perhaps platinum letters "Java Gone Green" and something is done with the letters that make the logo unique. For example, a coffee mug could be created with the letter v in Java. The v could be brown with steam coming from it making it look like a cup of coffee. I have several other ideas but want you to "Wow" me with something better than I can create. The old brief follows:
Logo design. Java Gone Green (JGG) is a new company. Creed and Karen Branson import Italian made luxury coffee machines. The product is espresso driven, fully automatic and provides a fresh ground luxury bean to cup coffee experience in seconds. The unique selling position is "Love Your Coffee, Love Your Planet" The significance is great quality (Italians are known for great coffee and and beautiful well made shoes), environmentally friendly (no K-cups) with the only waste being used coffee, which can even be recycled in a compost pile or garden. Our customers are business offices, car dealerships or anywhere the business owner supplies coffee for their employees. A secondary benefit is administrative assistants no longer have to leave the building to get a great cup of coffee or to get coffee for her boss. We can also serve coffee in a retail environment where there are people gathering (the machines can be adapted for credit card readers or paper and coin operation). The value model is very convenient, top shelf quality, immediate service at a price under any coffee shop.
JGG purchases the machine, places it in a business and services the machine. Or, JGG can lease a machine to a company. JGG cannot sell machines
We want to communicate great quality and environmental responsibility. K-cups are filling up landfills because they can't be recycled (all recycle companies require clean recycled goods, which means we waste water). Recycling only makes sense where there is a profit motive. When the price paid for recycled goods is greater than the cost of gathering and cleaning these items companies lose there incentive. see this link in our local newspaper: https://www.tampabay.com/opinion/ed…_168257767
We are passionate about two things: we are foodies and as such love a good cup of coffee; and, we want to do our part in saving the planet from destructive wasteful throw everything in a landfill and forget about it thinking.
We want a logo that is simple, understated but powerful in the communication of "Love Your Coffee, Love Your Planet"
