Joy Meets Work is an aspirational brand that creates products that support people's personal development. The brand and its products are directly aimed at fostering productivity and bringing happiness along the way to the places we love. Products range from to-do list notepads, calendars, computer and phone cases, pens/pencils, stationery, and decorative prints. Joy Meets Work also fosters real-world conversations within its blog, covering topics such as workplace happiness and burnout.
Our target audience is skewed female between the ages of 21-35. These women are hard workers, who buy into brand aesthetic and like pretty and minimalist things.

Hi! Thank you for working on my design. I have attached some ideas that inspired my initial vision with watercolor, based on the creative side of the brain. I would like for this to be a simple design, that truly speaks to the words "JOY" + "CREATIVITY". My mock-up with the watercolor and the typography contrast is aligned with what I'm looking for. However, I would like to see a similar interpretation produced by a professional designer (since this is not my strength!) Legibility is very important, so the colors can be accents, rather than the main event. While this brand skews female, I am not keen on super girly designs with the lettering. I am also open to color recommendations in your submissions to evaluate the look change with various colors.
Lastly I am unsure about the horizontal versus stacked right now since it's early in the creation process. I would like to see it both ways to pick a direction.
