Kate’s Bakery & Café strives to be a contemporary, forward thinking bakery & cafe rooted in a community proud of its heritage and traditions. We specialize in baked goods and freshly made food, with our ingredients sourced as much as possible from local farmers and producers. We believe in things tasting better when made fresh, from scratch and without unnecessary additives and preservatives.
The backbone of our operation is our bakery, focusing on freshly baked savory and sweet goods. This includes artisan/hearth breads, sandwich breads, bagels, pastries (e.g., croissants, danish), donuts, cookies/brownies, pies, savory tarts/quiches, cakes/cupcakes, and specialty cakes (e.g., celebration, wedding).
We also serve breakfast and lunch, with items derived largely from our bakery (e.g., French toast, sweet and savory bread puddings, individual meat/veggie pies, sandwiches on homemade breads), but also with a focus on items not typically found in the area. This includes a greater number of vegetarian and internationally flavored items.
