America's oldest bicycle road race / or "Since 1957"

Berkeley Hills Road Race is a nonprofit road bicycle race in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. It is organized by Berkeley Bicycle Club, a volunteer run organization dedicated to promoting cycling in Berkeley and the Bay Area. Every year, about 500 amateur bicycle racers participate in BHRR, one of the toughest races on the race calendar in Northern California. It is known as a "climber's race," because the course takes place around the Three Bears, a loop that spans three different-sized hills known as Mama Bear, Papa Bear and Baby Bear. The finish line ends at the top of Papa Bear. In the past, we have included three different sized bears in our race t-shirt, including a quasi-relief map of the hills under each bear. Ideally, the logo should include the words Berkeley Hills Road Race, and possibly "Since 1957" in it, though we are open to suggestions. We want to put the logo on a backdrop for the podium awards ceremony, our website, t-shirts and hats. The words should look legible in all cases.
NOTE: this is for a road bicycle race, not a mountain bike race. Please google "road bicycle" if unsure of the distinction between the two.

The attached logo for our club includes the relief map for the road race. The logo for the race could look somewhat similar to the club, but should not look identical.
