We decided to start Bambino Weekend as we found ourselves consistently frustrated when trying to come up with different activities for our kids each weekend. There are only so many times you can go to the movies or the museum. We have always believed in experiences and saving our money for mini holidays and day trips around Victoria. We want to share our love of experiences with people! Bambino Weekend is a destination for parents, kids and people to explore and be inspired. We want everything we do to be fun, creative and more than anything adventurous. We want to provide parents with weekend ideas, activities and inspiration for their families. Over the next 12 months we would like to build a following and develop a brand that’s consistent with our vision. We also want to have a fully functioning Bambino Weekend blog, website and app in that order. Think Broadsheet but for families and kids (http://www.broadsheet.com.au/melbourne/).

• Young families (Parents between the ages of 24 and 39) – We know that our core audience will be predominantly mothers and fathers.
• Living in Melbourne or tourist visiting Melbourne
• ‘Cool’ parents that are social influencers
• Their lifestyle is important to them
• Successful, passionate and adventurous
• Always on the go, living a busy lifestyle
• Balancing kids, work and social life
• Love immersing themselves and their family in different experiences
• Financially stable with disposable income to splurge on their passions

• Bambino Weekend’s essence (visually) is well-designed, bold and inspiring with a sense of curiosity & adventure
• Our Visual Identity should be easily recognisable, through simple cues (i.e. a clear Typography, font, power colour etc.)
• Our desire is for people to get excited about seeing our brand.
• Our desire for a logo is to incorporate an inspiring brand cue (i.e. Icon), so that our brand cue can exist without the necessary use of ‘Bambino Weekend’ if need be.
