Logo for Canadian investment and holding company

Andover Capital Corporation

We are a new, but ambitious Investment/Holding company. The name "Andover" is from a town called Perth-Andover in New Brunswick Canada, where the founder was born.

(1) Business owners - business owners we are purchasing companies from will look at our logo and website
(2) General public/Media
(3) Lawyers, bankers, consultants and other professionals
(4) Friends and family
(5) Advisors

(1) Attributes - Professional, bold, powerful look
(2) Colors - Dark/navy blue(or silver), and dark grey
(3) Size / Shape - Prominent "Andover", with "Capital Corporation" in smaller font underneath. Thinking the logo would look good to the left of the text, or prominently on top/center of "Andover"
(4) Fonts - Professional/classic type font
(5) Legible - we need to make sure people can read it properly

We are an investment firm so we need to be professional. Looking for a logo that

In terms of what the logo could be, I am open to suggestions, but my initial thoughts are either:
1) A symbol that resembles an "A"
2) Some sort of bridge theme. The town "Andover" is known for its old bridge, maybe have some sort of "A"/bridge logo similar to the Auckland logo I have attached?
