Logo 4 new Charity; Split Donations 50/50 w/ Animal Rescue & Ment. Health; In Memory of 32 Y/O Bro!

This is for a 501(c)3 non-profit that raises money, split 50/50, between Dual Diagnosis (Mental Illness with Addiction) & Animal Rescue. My brother died in August of last year, but his faithful dog kept him around for much longer than he would have been without him. So, to honor his memory, I'd like to somehow incorporate both of them into the logo.

I’m open to ideas on the type of logo that’s best for my brand. Attached are some cute Bingo pictures, and a few of my brother as well. I have more if needed. Bingo can be pretty obvious/apparent in the logo, whereas Greg should be represented somehow but not with a full on picture. For some reason, in my search for logos that I liked, sort of classic american pastime baseball logos I was drawn too? The charity has nothing to do with baseball just FYI, just liked those forsome reason. So maybe something like that but with a modern kind of twist, where Bingo is shown and Greg is represented more abstractly/indirectly? Hope that's not useless.
