Strapline: The Professional Cleaning Network
The logo must be strong enough to work as an abstract symbol. Commonly (on the website) it will appear with the company name "Irish Textile Care Society" and the strapline above. The keyword here is versatility - probably best to keep the symbol and wording separate so they can be arranged in different configurations.
The logo will also be used on a decal at member premises, so it must convey to consumers that the member is a part of a trusted and authoritative association and therefore the member meets a certain quality standard.
FLUID/BRIGHT/CLEAN should be communicated strongly. Designs based on the circle, spiral and wave would be suitable - anything suggesting the cleaning cycle, the process of cleaning, the operation/movement of the equipment. Colour/dye/colour theory and science concepts can be explored. White background.
Please explore other concepts as you see fit! It should however, be obvious that the logo owner is a textile cleaning organisation. I will favour entrants that include a written explanation with their concept, detailing the rationale and research behind the work
I will require vector format files and once the winning entrant is selected I will need the winner to supply a few variants of the finished artwork
- business card
These variants will have a different arrangement of the elements, however the principal desgin (symbol and wording) will remain the same.
