Logo needs to incorporate our name and a graphic element that can stand alone without the name—whether it’s a treatment of our initials or a logo mark.
Perhaps the letters could follow a mirror design as in this case
or like http://www.jlco.com/
we also like the simplicity of http://www.mop.ie/
think 2.0 meet Sterling Cooper
The logo will be used primarily on our website and related digital forms but also on stationary and perhaps our brass-plate.
The logo should follow best web 2.0 practice in terms of clarity and simplicity while avoiding gaudy or gimicky imagery or colors. It should be elegant but not old fashioned. Please avoid legal clichés.
Our existing corporate colors are green.
We want to use a font based on Edward Johnstons London Underground type designed for London Transport in 1915, like this free font
The files we will require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK) and .pdf
Web file format - layered .psd (RGB)
Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo
Please note overt 'Irish' branding is not required in terms of color / symbolism, thanks.
