selling high end wine (mostly Australian and New Zealand wine) to consumers in Hong Kong (both ex-pats and local Chinese). If successful, expansion to other east Asian countries, mostly focused on the Chinese mainland for the next 1-2 years. Target audience skews male, is generally quite well off to wealthy, sophisticated, and looking to try something new and unique. Age would be under between 25 and 40 years old, educated professionals that are located in major cities.
Would like to have a logo that is one one hand new and not too pretentious (there is enough of this in wine sellers at the moment) while conveying a high quality (if possble). Logo will be used primarily on website and digital marketing. Focus of selling will be through mobile devices, so think of how this will look on the smaller screen. Customers will probably be looking at our site on their commute, or very quickly, so the logo should ideally be clear and evocative in that context.

bold, simple logo, doesn't require lots of words. Not sure how applicable something like this could be for a startup that needs to build its brand? open to ideas in this are though.
older type style conveys a bit of elegance, and liked the negative image for the hound.
simple and clean, evoking the product being sold (assume this would be about homewares or something similar.
font for the signature
classic sort of hipster logo - evoking some older type focus on quality. Use of mid 20th century things for that.
funny, somewhat whimsical.
