When naming a practice you're a little limited. You want to be creative, but you need people to know what you do. The name of my practice, Family Eye Health, is an example. It speaks to my target and to what I do, but there are lots of similar names and even other practices around the country with the same name. I'd like to include the location in the logo, Miami. It can be a line under it.
I'm a member of Vision Source (a network of private optometry practices) and so it will go under the logo. I included a logo for FIG Garden optometry as an example of how I need to include the Vision Source logo. To be clear, the vision source logo is something I will need added to the bottom of my logo, but my logo should be able to live without it. The vision source logo also needs to stay in it's own yellow color.
Regarding the color, I don't necessarily have a very strong preference. I listed colors I like (blue, green, gray), but I'm open to how they're used. I've seen logos that use one color in tones and it's nice. At the same time, I'd like to keep it to 2 or 3 colors tops to make sure printing costs wont be too high.
Eye exams and optical wear (glasses/ sunglasses) are very big parts of the business. It's important that people realize that we sell glasses. Thanks a million for taking the time to look at this and I hope to see your work. Design is foreign to me so I really appreciate the help.
