The product is a firearm cleaning kit, aimed at firearm and self-defense enthusiasts.
The website "Weaponready.net" should be on the final design.
You guys and gals were chosen based not only on your submissions but your portfolio as well.
As the new title states, this is a label AND logo design.
The size and shape of the label can be found in the pictures I have uploaded. You should stick to the general layout of the sticker, including font size and order of the text. However, the logo, font, color, border (if any) are up to you. If I am violating some cardinal rule in a logo or label design, let me know in your design, and explain your thoughts in a message. For now, your color scheme should pop against a label that is not black. The case will be Pantone 7407.
Notes on the logo design:
Weapon ready is a Firearms Accessory supplier, but we do not and have no plans to sell weapons or ammunition. I don't want the logo to imply that we do. So designs need to temper the display of rifles or pistols to impart that we care for the weapon, not sell them.
Our customers are men who own and practice marksmanship, gun safety and are practical above all else. Men don't think they are emotional, but we know that owning and caring for a firearm elicits an emotional response. Those emotions are the strength, power, and the ability to "handle" any situation. Having a gun can make you "Right" under the most extreme self-defense situations. Having a weapon ready to go is part of that. This is important.
The logo will be used on other products as well, such as gun oil bottles, barrel snakes packaging, gun safes, rifles racks, holsters, etc etc.
In the initial phase of the contest, there were a lot of "Me too" designers. Designers were submitting based on star ratings. If your design is a copy of someone else works, that's not going to sit well. Having said that, the winner of this contest will not be decided entirely by Us. I will be using polling data for 75% of the decision. I will decide tiebreakers.
Also, the spartan Theme is not an automatic win. In fact, I'd like to get some fresh ideas for the logo altogether.
Alright, that's all for now. Good luck!
