Values to Communicate:
As this product will be directed to publishers and bloggers -- of all types -- our "voice of MoodThingy" is a friendly tone, open to all audiences, with moments of humor without being snarky or malicious (as far as copy goes, think "Flickr," especially during its early days.)
You can see an example of a widget by going to any particular blog post on one of the sites that has implemented an alpha version of MoodThingy:
This previous link is an example of a MoodThingy widget which has a high amount of votes. (Scroll down to "MoodThingy," after the article and before the comments.)
This is a different example of a Moodthingy widget. As of this writing, there is no votes and best represents an initial case scenario.
The visual branding will, at the very least, go in our marketing website at the soon to be launched MoodThingy.com, and then on to print, signage, etc. We will also most likely integrate this branding within the widget itself.
As the widget will be implemented on blogs and websites of all types, the branding should be strong enough where it looks good against any color palette.
