Lanjia Craft is a project that serves two purposes –to offer the ethnic hill tribal minorities if northern Thailand sustainable livelihoods and to keep their traditional craft of embroidery and batik-making alive.
These hilltribe women live in a remote, hilly region in northern Thailand. They found it hard to bring their goods to market or to places where travellers.
The project will not only provide resource for the ladies to make their handicrafts to high end/luxury products but we intend to help them market and sell the products in retail shops, hotel boutiques or corporate gifts.
The audience will be people who care about fine crafts and helping less fortunate. People who are well traveled with extra disposal income to support the works of the ladies . It product will be sold in selected places.
The embroideries are all hand made and every stitch is carefully done by hand. Once embroideries are completed, it sewed by the ladies themselves. The indigo Batik that they make use natural indigo dye and are hand drawn.

We want to lift up the product so that it will view as selective, finely crafted. They are not products that can be found in any souvenir shops, markets or rustic ethnic. Its should be sophisticated and elegant.
