Hans Leenhouts necesitaba un nuevo diseño de logotipo y lanzó un concurso de diseño en 99designs.
Un ganador ha sido elegido entre 73 diseños de 24 diseñadores freelance.
THE BRANCHE/INDUSTRY (where we use the word BRANCHE you can also read INDUSTRY)
Like in the rest of the world many people in the Netherlands visit Quick Service Restaurants like McDonald’s, Burgerking, KFC. Apart from these well-known fastfoodrestaurants, we consider also outlets where food and drinks are being served (fast) to consume on the spot or to go/take away, being part of a branche called “Fastservice”: a blend of (quick)foodservice, retail and hospitality industry.
In the Netherland there are about 10.000 outlets part of this branche: fresh fruit drinks bars, ice-cream outlets, coffee corners, pizza delivery companies, pancake restaurants, sandwich shops, bakery outlets, lunchrooms, and traditional “cafeteria’s”, (as we call them in Holland) selling French fries and deep-fried snacks, salads, light meals, ice-cream and drinks.
Not only in Holland the branche has a negative image: for as well as the food ( unhealthy) as working ( so called Mcjobs). With this site we want to inform people about all possibilities of study and working in the branche and so improving the branche image here in Holland.
We stand for improving the standard and level of work (by education/workshops) for employees and entrepreneurs by giving good information.

Regarding color and style: pls don’t look only to McDonalds or KFC or Burgerking but also to new concepts in this branche: freshfood, saladbars, smoothies, coffee & tea bars, etc.
Logo must be classy, feel good, warm, hospitality. It must be a “rich” logo as we want to improve the image of the branche. Must be attractive to young people.
- The logo will be used for the new website and stationary and we will use it in several sizes, so consider the ability to read the name of the foundation.
- Please use colours which respect the branche
- Logo should be bright and different ( but a bit of serious business), qualtity first, people friendly, feeling of support/ community/college.
- Should be delivered in a such a format, we can use it fort all kind of purposes.
