The Northeast Missouri Health Council, Inc. is one of over 1200 Federally Qualified Health Centers that provide healthcare to anyone, including more than 17 million low-income or medically indigent patients through a network of some 2500 clinics in the United States.
The Northeast Missouri Health Council, Inc. was established to meet the primary healthcare needs of the residents of Northeast Missouri through a not-for-profit community-responsible approach which consists of the following:
a) Identification of health care and social services needs and programs within the region.
b) Broad access for the provision of quality health and dental care, and health education.
c) Fiduciary responsibility optimizing resources to provide the most cost effective program to maintain affordability to patients and long-term corporate viability.
d) Develop and maintain program linkages with other health care providers to prevent duplication of services, obtaining the greatest utilization of limited resources within the service area, and promoting the utilization of those available services.
