Logo for a new recruitment/executive search firm

I am an independant recruitment consultant and have just started my own business, as my employer recently became insolvent. I specialise in placing senior executives in Financial Services across UK, Europe and US. I would like a unique logo to be designed so that I can use it on a website (yet to be built) and across platforms - LinkedIn, Twitter etc. The RBG colours of the newly designed logo can be connected to the colours of the banners on Office documents/templates (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Furthermore, If possible I would also like the logo to have a transparent version for use on certain documents. The company is called Cara Executive Search. Cara means "friendship" in Gaelic so perhaps the colour used in the logo and on banners could be green? The marketing concept is that I am a friend to the firm which is hiring and a friend to candidates seeking work. I don't want to preempt any design ideas, but one would be related to a handshake perhaps, or other friendship concept. The industry I am in tends to be formal, and the target audience are senior executives, so I need to bear that in mind in the design. However I would like to balance this formality somewhat and stand out with a fresh look. The name does not necessarily need to be incorporated in the logo, as it is so long. Thank You!
