Audience: Patients, Referring Physicians Description: Endoscopy are camera tests that involve introducing a slim tube, which has a camera at the end to aid in visualization and that the endoscopist can maneuver, into the gastrointestinal tract SPARC is a centre for advanced endoscopic techniques whereby we can remove pre-cancerous or early cancers along the gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, stomach, small bowel, large bowel). We use tools that we introduce through the endoscope (specialized knives, snares) to achieve this. This commonly requires electrocautery. Please see the website below for further details
