School of Docs
As its name suggests, School of Docs is an educational service/school providing training and continuing education to high end sports Doctors (Docs).
Corporate stuffy hospitals and clinics do not inspire anyone.
Objectives for Doctors:
- Get out of the stuffy Hospital/Clinic, alone or with your family
- Get an elite educational update of the latest technologies and innovative processes.
- Network with new Doctors
- Discover and learn new procedures
- Get out after class to ski, mountain bike, play or relax with family and friends
- Follow comments from interesting people, register for courses or discover the latest research at http://www.schoolofdocs.com (under construction)
Let these sports docs have fun while receiving the BEST educational training experience available.
Example: 2011 Summer and Winter training sessions will be held in Park City, Utah (Home of 2002 Olympics). Training Sessions will include hands on training on the Olympic Venues.
School of Docs is a fun Destination and an Education. Think School of Docs as an educational escape that was so professionally rewarding that it made you want to buy the T-shirt and come back next year.
Doctors of all specialties, but especially to the more active, athletic and adventurous group of high end sports Doctors.
These Doctors are professional yet work with BMX, Dew Tour, X Games and other professional thrill seeking athletes. You may also see, but not recognize them on the sidelines with your favorite sports team. They know how to have fun and they also seek adventure.
Most of these doctors are athletes themselves. They see the cool new designs and logos of sponsor companies and desire to surround themselves with upscale fun companies willing to push the boundaries within their professional realm.
They range between the ages of 25 - 50. Male and Female. They want to show off the cool places they have been and the companies they associate with.
This is about a fun experience they have had within their profession.
Logo symbol and textmark.
The logo should contain a strong enough Symbol that it can be recognized without the need for text (i.e., School of Docs).
-The logo should contain a well-defined mark plus the textmark 'School of Docs'
-Optional usage with the tagline "Educating Sports Health Specialists".
-The mark should be strong enough to stand alone without the text “School of Docs”.
-We plan to use the logo in everything we do, including: Website, Shirts, Trade Booth, Marketing Materials (slicks, brochures, etc), Building Signage.
-Web 2.0, Smart and Dynamic
-Scalable vector format
That means think about it's usage as a monotone overlay on a pamphlets, presentation, etc.
Have fun with the logo mark, text or both in fun, edgy, healthy, green, masculine, feminine, examples of your choice.

School of Docs is an obvious play off of “School of Rock”. While we do want to have fun with the logo, school crest, flames, skulls, cute, healthy, green, masculine, feminine, etc, at times we also have to demonstrate a certain maturity level especially since the sports health industry is typically considered high end and professional. Please factor this in while evaluating multiple ideas.
The best tip is to stay away from the clinical Doctor symbols and clip art icons. We train Doctors of all specialties and we don't want to offend them by using another specialties symbol.
Once our logo is picked, we are open to contracting the designer for other design projects as well as other marketing strategy logos.
