appscotch turns advertising (ad units) into playable ad units because the ad is the app. we virtualize apps (think APK file) but instead of the user having to download the app to first try it, we enable ad-units to stream the app (virtualized in the cloud) and turn the model into a "try before you install" customer acquisition model for app marketers. we are NOT direct to consumer. we power mobile advertising networks with an entirely new ad unit that is engaging because once you click the ad, we let you play the app (if its a game) instead of redirecting you to the iTunes or GooglePlay store. its a bit of try-before-you-install, app-on-demand, etc...
