Target audience a C-suite executives of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostic manufacturers in the US, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies,
The company name was taken from the greek word for virtue or excellence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arete), the opposite of hubris. Those are key values in our client work. Somewhere on my website I would have that definition and statement of values. Would it be useful to highlight the Greek origin of the word in the logotype? (just my non-expert opinion....you are the design experts)
I have not fully worked out the slogan, but it would something like "trusted strategic advisor to bio-pharmaceutical companies"
The design for my previous consulting firm (http://www.biostrategies.com/) is an example, although I am open to different types of designs
"LLC" not required as part of the logo
logo examples from biotechnology companies (the target market for the firm) that I liked
• prefer to brand around the word "Arete" rather than the initials "AS" or "A"
• logos might be something abstractly biological, as the firm's clients use biotechnology to product innovative medicines
• eco connotation of green less meaningful for the firm's clients....they use biotechnology to produce medicines, not plants
• please include the accent - Areté
Feb 14: I have extended the contest for another day in order for the finalists to continue tweaking their design concepts. NO NEW ENTRANTS PLEASE
