Ideally, a simple yet powerful abstract mark would accompany the name. The sign should represent the various stages of the Information Management journey - or simply a journey to maturity in any business environment. The number of stages is 3-5, but the exact number should not matter that much, as the the mark is illustrative. The future state is all about perfection, of a complete view of information across the organization (360-degree view).
The name itself should be one combined word (InfoStages), but clearly showing the two words that were used to assemble it ("info" and "stages").
Perhaps along the lines of the Capgemini logo (http://www.capgemini.com). In that example I like the color variation between the words - however, do not feel constrained to use the exact same font size, style or case for both words. All I want is an esthetically pleasing flow.
The target market: mid to large enterprises. Typically engaging with Director-level representatives (and higher), so the logo needs to be "smart".
