The logo must incorporate these two symbols (see 3 attached examples of each):
1. The Greek letter λ: The symbol λ corresponds to λ-calculus which is the mathematical foundation for our technology.
2. The Japanese symbol Enso which represents 'Zen': The symbol Enso (which means Circle in Japanese) represents Zen, a form of Buddhism that emphasizes intuition and awareness of the world and self. In the context of the logo, the Enso represents the intuitive human knowledge and intelligence.
These symbols must complement each other. The Lambda must try to convey the exactness, firmness and completeness associated with mathematical logic. The Enso must try to convey the harmony, ambiguity, and incompleteness associated with our collective understanding of the world. The logo must emphasize a little more on the Enso than the Lambda.
The primary use of this logo will be on the website and associated software products. Use in print will be secondary.
Please do not include the word 'LambdaZen' in the logo.
