Strategy Advantage has been in business since 2005. We have been a boutique-size consulting firm providing business and market strategy consultation for hospitals, large hospital-based health care systems, and medical groups. We sell, most usually, to CEOs and Senior VPs or VPs of Strategy and Business Development at healthcare organizations with $1B or more in annual revenues. We currently have a logo (attached), but would like to enhance/ change this logo for two reasons: 1) We want a logo that is more contemporary, more exciting, more colorful, and more flexible for use with different web and social media platforms, 2) Our business focus is pivoting. In 2012, our new mission is "to spark new ideas and change in healthcare." We will do this via three inter-related categories of service offierings, including: 1) Our core set of strategic and business planning services, 2) A package of board/ leader retreats and meetings (i.e. idea spark events, vision retreats, revolution meetings), and 3) The Studio, an online, membership-based set of services with a blog, a library of fascinating ideas and people in the industry, different researched topic manifesto, and tools, training, coaching, and techniques to support innovation works.
We do not want to change our logo significantly (unless someone has a logo suggestion that knocks our socks off). Rather, we would be interested in seeing the current logo enhanced with colors added and with other, more contemporary touches. Also, we would like suggestions for compatible typefaces/ fonts to use with the logo. And, we would like a suggested color palette to use with the logo.
We also note that what we like about the current logo is that the four quadrants depict different pices of a complex puzzle that come together to form a solution. This is what we do with strategic/ business planning. Also, the outward-to-inward coiling in each of the four quadrants depicts a pathway toward an intended end point, which is also what we do with strategic planning (i.e. strategy is about how a company drives future growth and potential by moving from its current to a future vision and much improved set of goals).
