Prefer to maintain the iconic logo style like the current logo shown in the attached one-sheet. Need to have a standalone logo icon that includes the acronym "WIGI" as well as type treatment for the organization name "Women in Games International" like in current logo. Should include tagline: "Network • Learn • Advance." (Do not include quotation marks in any logo/treatment.)
The vision for the new logo is as follows:
The new logo should communicate that Women in Games International membership concretely advances the careers of its members.
WIGI promotes STEM/STEAM education for women via partnerships with educational institutions and press relations.
WIGI has new services and is the #1 diversity organization in the video game industry. WIGI is plugged into all of tech and is the best way to learn, the best way to get access to senior leaders and is the best way to become a leader yourself in the video game industry.
The new branding should be recognizable as “WIGI.” That is the shorthand name for Women in Games International. The logo should be iconic—that is, there should be a standalone logo that is recognizable as “WIGI” as well as logotype that spells out “Women in Games International.” The logo should have multiple versions for horizontal, vertical, four-color, black/white and knockout usages.
We’re looking to refresh the image of Women in Games International to current and former members and stakeholders. With this rebranding, we want to stay current, set ourselves ahead of the competition and differentiate our brand from competitors while building on the perceived equity that exists in the WIGI brand.
People choose our products and services over our competitors because of our focus—on jobs for women and the general increase in diversity in the game industry. There are other organizations that are interested in diversity in games, and other organizations interested in jobs for women in tech. However, WIGI is the only organization with a main focus on jobs for women in the video game industry.
We help you build your career, stay on top of new tech and be a part of the women in games community.
