Military Europe

I am currently in Active Duty military and am looking to create a website for those currently stationed in Europe to include Military, DoD civilians, Family Members, Retirees as well as those going to be stationed or have been stationed in Europe. I would like to improve communications amongst the community in Europe.

I am trying to create a great environment were people can meet others, as it can be hard at times since everything in Europe is quite foreign. This is for all our patriots who volunteered to do the less desirable jobs of our country and I would like to give back more than just serving.

I like to get out and travel and explorer but many people don't and also people can't get information they need or ask the right people questions so I am trying to improve these things around the community I am in, and I believe I can do it through the new mediums we have today.

This contest is for a logo specifically for a web banner that says Military Europe and even more specific something warm and inviting, Involving people and community but it also must keep some kind of military flavor.

The target audience are all the Americans that are stationed throughout Europe working with for the US government in all capacities as well as there families. The age group would best be represented by 17-38 year old male and females.

Other markets are those who will be stationed in Europe and those who have been already and would like to keep up with whats currently happening in the American Military community throughout Europe.

This is completely open for creativity I have no specific requirements but to help get ideas flowing think patriotic military such things as stencil fonts, flags and also of values such as honor, integrity, self-less service, respect and discipline. These all are throughout the community. To add also think of people, community, caring and stuff of the nature.

Commons colors are subdued mattes of greens, browns and tans but of course I want to see lots of creativity blues, reds and other soft pleasant colors are welcome to. I would like to see something that would easily grab the target audiences attention without being to far out but not so professional either. Feel free to make motto's or taglines. Please no stock images or clip art.

After the first few submissions I realized I need to say that I am not looking for things representative of violence such as guns, cross-hairs and such.
