We're a video production company that specializes in working with nonprofits, foundations and do-gooder wings of companies. It's important to us to communicate with our brand that we really care about the work we do, that we're personable and even somewhat informal, and that we value emotional power and their stories over slickness. So the logo needs to have a little roughness to it, some panache and even friendliness...no slick corporate logos needed here! When people see this they should think "I want to meet these people, they'll understand the work we do". There are parallell meanings with the "Mission" in Mission Pictures in that we work to tell about people's mission, that we are on a mission to change the world and that we were also born in the culturally rich Mission District of San Francisco. And please don't overemphasize film elements, like film reels and film footage! If used in a really imaginative way, maybe, but mostly not useful. Film is going to be gone in a few years, and our company is more about our passion for social change than being filmmakers. Most of the work we do is documentary.
