We are looking for a new logo to represent our ballistic protection company.
Adjectives to describe the desired look would be clean, simple, sophisticated and elegant.
The design should mainly be centered around variations of word art, and rely mostly on creative/custom fonts to create interest. The Safe Place text should be primary with Solutions secondary unless your design requires equal prominence to achieve the best result.
The impression we want to create is one of protection from bullets or projectiles. To accomplish this, we are looking for creative ways of using simple illustrations and variations of text without having to rely on the typical elements you may associate with 'protection' such as a shield or similar. The logo document provides some guidance on items we like from a design standpoint but we hope to receive additional ideas from this creative group of designers.
The font in the 'vector black' logo is very interesting, especially the delta A in the word 'black'. The 'Sepio' logo follows a format we would like to explore in that our products, mostly plate steel armor, offer a wall of defense for people. In the sepio logo there is a vertical line separating the projectiles (which also make the shape of an S) from the Sepio Systems text - really clever. The Blaodeology logo looks as if it's been slashed. This is another interesting concept. Perhaps the projectile (bullet) trails can appear to be shooting through our logo text similar to the bladeology logo only to be stopped by a vertical line between the words "Safe Place" and "solutions" giving the impression of protection. We are open to upper/lower case font mixture as well as all caps as in the vector black example. Bonus points for creating an icon out of the SP for 'safe place' as creatively as the VB icon in the vector black example. colors should be straightforward, all black or all blue with a touch of red accent.
Would need to be presented on variations of background to show how it would look on dark and light surfaces.
