Quiénes somos
We’re a classical yoga studio opening on the island of Kauai. Our focus is as much on the spiritual facets of yoga as it is on the physical components. In Hawaiian, “Halani” means breath from the heavens (HA= breath and LANI=heavently). Aesthetically we’re looking for a modern, clean, elegant logo with a stylized A (within the word Halani) that can stand alone as a symbolic representation of the studio.

I have a logo started that is conceptually on point but I think it could be more visually powerful and cleaner. In the logo I already have, the things I like are: 1. That the fonts are two different densities 2. That the spacing between the letters of the word "Yoga" is greater than that spacing between the letters of the word "Halani" (this makes me feel like the logo simulates the breath) 3. The graphic in the center of the A is an eye with a flame inside What I'm looking to improve: 1. The graphic in the A. When I first started the design process with my friend, I sent her the two pictures above - the one that reads "live slowly" and a loose drawing of the A.
