If you use the colour red. We are after a passonate red, much like the red familiar with brands like virgin.com, Ferrari, Air Asia, Coca Cola etc.
As this new platform will have a mobile solution, the logo needs to lend itself to potentially being an app icon as well so the logo should have the ability to be shorten or have a unique feature that could be used that will identify the app icon with the logo/brand together so theres a synergy between the 2.
What we do NOT want to see:
Lighting effects on wording
No Fonts that are scrolling/italic - Simple and plain is best.
Only incorporate the letters if it works in an icon
Icon should be able to migrate easily to app icon - eg: Square or circular - NOT diamond.
Less is more - dont make it over complicated.
This competition has been extended due the designs that were submitted were too complicated in the icon area.
Designs that came 60 - 70% of what we are looking for were designs 159 - for the fonts used and they way they are constructed. and design 155 - for the icon concept.
