I am Gerdie Jullens (1955) and I work independently as a work and organizational psychologist. Employers are my principals for conducting research into the organizational culture; training executives; guiding intervision groups; individually guiding employees and resolving conflicts at work. So I am simultaneously a researcher, coach/therapist, mediator and discussion partner for management.
I have many years of experience with these interventions at various branches, such as care, technology and education. I mainly work with MBO + and higher educated employees, managers and professionals.
In research on the organizational culture, I measure the degree of collegiality and the commitment of employees to the organization. If the employer is dissatisfied with the organizational culture, training managers will help changing this. I train the managers in engaging employees with their behaviour.
I supervise intervision groups of autonomous working professionals, for example hr managers, from different organizations. In a structured way the members of the group give feedback on each other’s performances with the aim to improve their quality of work.
I guide employees individually when they experience problems at work and in their private lives. They cannot adequately profile themselves at work and can have a difficult relationship with colleagues, managers, but also with people from their private lives. As a result of my guidance they perform and function better, which prevent long-term absence. That is cost saving for the employer. The difficult relationships at work can lead to conflicts that I help solve as an impartial person.
In these interventions, I only use scientifically tested methods and instruments. My approach is characterized by a no-nonsense approach, effectiveness and speed, so that principals save money through my interventions.
