I am including the Ol Pejeta branding guidelines. The logo for DISCOVER needs to "fit" within this brand (to a certain extent). This is the reason why we chose green and orange colours because those are colours within our brand. Please refer to our branding guidelines.
Our vision is to create an event that celebrates the many facets of Kenya’s inredible culture; primarily through music but also art, theatre and comedy, and in so doing unite and strengthen people and ideas. Our ethos embraces the truth that enjoyable, communal encounters create a positive force for change and development. The festival scene in Kenya as yet has not been explored in great detail
and we believe the time has come to produce an event that showcases Kenya’s remarkable talent, in a setting that celebrates an integral part of Kenya’s heritage; the wilderness. We need to make
conservation relevant and exciting through innovative methods that will inspire all; to remember Kenya is capable of supporting itself.
We aim to curate a superlative line up of Kenya’s best artists, as well as possibly overseas, combined with an appreciative audience and plenty of delicious food, drink and memorable experiences. We
hope to create a situation where conservation and community development is a bi-product of value-formoney fun and entertainment - using inspiration to provoke change and hope.
Anyone with an appreciation for Kenyan culture will love and be inspired by this event. Our more specific target audience will be Kenyans with a high disposable income, supporters of the arts and
music lovers. Age demographics range from 18 - 50, as well as families with young children.
This will be a three day (two night) event, located inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy, within a secure perimeter. There will one main stage for music, plus a theatre and comedy stage, arts marquee,
workshop/lectures marquee and a kid’s zone, with specific activities and entertainment for them. There will be tiered camping areas with various accommodation options, and a wide variety of food and drink stalls over three days. On top of a hugely fun weekend of music and entertainment at the festival, guests have the opportunity to see Ol Pejeta and all the work that is done towards taking care of wildlife and communities.
