Name Explanation: play on words "noble" and "no bull"; noble, in that we always do the right thing for our clients; "no bull," in that we always shoot straight, always call things as we see them, and address the elephants in the room; no-nonsense approach to helping groups and teams work better together
Branded House: Nobul Performance is one brand in what will eventually be a family of related brands. Other brand names will, for instance, include Nobul Camps, Nobul Deeds, and Nobul Words. The primary brand that will be consistent across these will be the "Nobul" part; the secondary word will change. We will likely want to color code these variations on this logo by changing the color of the secondary words: Camps is green; Deeds is purple; Words is black; Performance is orange. The abstract mark should work well with multiple service areas--teams, writing, summer camps, etc. Consider how this is similar to the Fedex family of brands; that's where we'd like to be.
The Mothership: We will have a holding company called Nobul Ventures. Each of the various brands--Camps, Performance, Words, Deeds, etc.--will be wholly owned subsidiaries or DBAs of Nobul Ventures.
DO NOT: Something we specifically DO NOT want to see are abstractions of people holding hands or a circle of people. This includes the dots for heads. We're just looking for a neat abstract symbol, like Nike, Mitsubishi, or the CMI example I uploaded. Also, keep in mind that the design needs to work with other secondary words than just Performance, so DO NOT stretch/kern Performance to match the width of Nobul.
