Since 1986, Scottsdale Leadership has graduated more than 700 alumni who are positively impacting hundreds of civic, philanthropic and cultural organizations. Scottsdale Leadership strengthens the local community by developing, training and empowering dedicated leaders through education, skill development, mentoring, and community trusteeship.
Our alumni complete an extensive leadership training program, earning their PhD in Scottsdale. They are community and business leaders in the state.
We would like our alumni and prospective class members to feel a connection to the logo. Scottsdale Leadership teaches the ideal of Servant Leadership and Community Trusteeship which is the ability to hold a community in trust; leading with the desire to serve first and only then, to lead; seeing the big picture and acting upon it for the common good.
Our advisory board, board of directors and alumni include state senators and representatives, leaders of local businesses and global corporations and past/present presidents of local colleges.
Prospective class members do not need to live or work in Scottsdale. However, all prospects must:
* Be passionate about the issues facing the Scottsdale community
* Want to be a significant part of Scottsdale’s future
* Currently or plan to volunteer for a community organization(s) that impacts Scottsdale
* Be ready to be seen as a leader!
Logo design should contain the color red and be transferable to black and white. We are going for a clean and contemporary look.
The winning logo must be provided as a scalable vector graphic (i.e. Adobe Illustrator).
a. Digital images should be created at 11” wide with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
b. Flexibility is a key requirement, including the need to resize easily. Entry must be able to be manipulated (in regard to size).
WINNING DESIGN PRIZE:
The winner will also have the opportunity to be named the Official Logo Designer for Scottsdale Leadership. The logo will be used online, in print, electronically, on merchandise, in press releases, advertisements, invitations, programs, etc.
1. An acknowledgment and/or personal photo on our website.
2. Recognition in press release, monthly newsletter, Facebook and Twitter announcing the winner.
