Vision statement To make the North Eastern Jewish Centre the shining light of Judaism in the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne Mission statement The NEJC seeks to bring Judaism to Jews in the north eastern suburbs through high quality education, cultural and social activities and spiritual services.

New Logo The NEJC are looking to update the current logo a blue menorah. We are looking to contemporise the colour and the look, without changing the shape. The original logo was designed many years ago, and is no longer reflective of today's world, or anyone under 60 years of age. Revamping the logo and catering for younger people and families would therefore show these individuals that the NEJC is in the 21st century. Overall the NEJC is a conservative spiritual, social, cultural, and religious centre, plus the menorah is an historical symbol going back thousands of years. The new design needs to reflect this. We are open to refining existing logo or creating something completely unique to what we currently have. Also explore flame concept.
