An online dating concierge, we write profiles and messages for online daters.
Our target market are high-achieving, high-income men. In particular, we are focusing on the sort of men who may have been very career-focused for much of their lives and now find themselves interesting in pursuing a relationship, but who are unpracticed at dating.
I attached stock images that we will likely use on some of our online pages. The winning logo will certainly need to work well with these.
The logo should incorporate some amount of cupid imagery and should convey that this is a writing service.
A draft piece of marketing copy follows:
We created DateWrite because so many of our friends were frustrated by online dating. Even the most wonderful guys can have trouble attracting attention online. Messages go unanswered, profiles unread, and they stayed home, night after night. Writing an attractive profile is a difficult balancing act. You have to present those features and accomplishments that make you look impressive. But if you're too forward, you come off as arrogant. Messages are even more nuanced. Most women receive more than twenty messages a week and will only reply to one or two. For your message to stand-out, it has to be unusual, funny, and most importantly: uniquely focused on the woman you're writing. Pre-canned cut-n-paste messages just aren't good enough.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if you had a female best friend to guide you through the entire process? Someone who could polish your profile to be charming, impressive, and still naturally funny? Someone who could tell you what other women are looking for and help you write messages that are sure to get their attention. I'd like to be that someone for you: your own personal Cupid, here to help you get the most out of online dating
