The Coin Flyp is the first media platform that highlights life after sports. By combining digital content with athlete-driven perspectives, TCF empowers athletes to leverage sports in building identities for their careers after athletics. The Coin Flyp serves young and transitioning athletes in the United States, ages 18 - 30. This is primarily college athletes but could also refer to Olympic athletes and in the future, professional athletes. (I put sport below as the industry. I would also add online media and tech as an industry as well)

I think I want something minimalistic yet modern. The typography will be at the center of this logo. Other logos and brands that I am inspired by are The Muse (themuse.com), Blavity (blavity.com), The Player's Tribune (theplayerstribune.com), Bleacher Report (bleacherreport.com). Quartz (qz.com),The Score (thescore.com) and Business Insider (businessinsider.com).
One thing that is essential to The Coin Flyp is duality. The whole goal is to embrace the fact that there is another side to athletes and there is life after sports. "The Other Side" is a key element that I want communicate in my logo somehow if possible. One old slogan I tried to play with is, "Take a chance. Explore the other side of sports."
