Current logo and general look and feel can be viewed at OrganizeMe.com. Note that the written content is changing but the clean, light feel will stay with the rebrand/redesign.
I have had this website for 20 years. I've never really liked what the logo has looked like (trying to do it myself and design is not my forte). A lot of people (organizing professionals) have tried to knock of my domain name in one way or the other and almost everyone has organize one color and ME another color or font. The extra long word and very short word do make it challenging (at least for me!) to come up with many other designs.
I have used a butterfly in one fashion or another as its a symbol of transformation, but its not necessary to include but certainly applicable to what we are striving to help people do. A phrase I use a lot is "Ready. Fire. Aim." and i have played around with the fun decorative arrows with O being a target to symbolize reaching a goal. But I'm up for ideas so don't let those concepts limit you.
I'd love a fresh pair of eyes to take a look. I've played with lettering being "messy" and organized, and people have weighed in that it should be clean and organized (for the state that I'll make them, not where they are.)
The attached info has some websites I like, a customer persona, a little bit about what the site is going to do (the texting platform is new and currently being built). I linked to some pin boards of colors I've collected over time I love, as well as things I've pinned as I've worked on logos in the past that can serve as inspiration pieces.
I'd love a clean look. Most of the site will remain somewhat neutral so any images of decor and homes, and such can have the color in them. I tend to lean towards cool colors rather than warm tones.
I have access to all Adobe Typekit fonts, Google Fonts and am willing to purchase what may be needed. I would love a clean font that is great for making quote type graphics; and, not necessarily in the logo, but a script/artsy font that compliments it to use to accent words/phrases/topics in pinterest images and other sharables.
I just started using the Archer font (I like the little balls on the ends of the letters.) for the word “organize” and “me” is Museo Sans.
I love Jessica Heishe’s lettering, though she charges and arm and a leg for them.
The current Tiffany Blue-esque color I am using is #87CDCB I love it, but it is a more dull blue and doesn’t “pop” as much in a feed or a group of pins on pinterest. I am open to exploring any colors. I like cool tones more than warm tones though.
I have several pinboards that I have gathered over the years of trying to come up with an identity for both organizeme.com and my business site, chiefeverythingofficer.com. The looks and feels cross over quite a bit. So, I am just going to link to all of the pinboards and you can get a feel of colors, styles and such that I tend to be drawn to.
Having said that though, I have stared at this logo for over 20 years, and a fresh eye, a fresh color pallet, etc that I may not have even thought of is something I am totally open to. I find I keep getting stuck in the same things, so I am open to possibilities!
