Perth Health - tagline 'First In Natural Health'
Perth Health sells mainly to trade, not direct to the public so does not have a high profile presence other than to its existing customers.
Based in Perth West Australia, they service 1000+ Health and Pharmacy stores, selling a wide range of health products. They are predominantly a family owned business and having been established for over 20+ years they are the market leaders in their field.
They have built trust and rappore over the years by way of their excellent friendly service, reliability and distribution systems, backed by a small sales force which visits stores daily to promote products. The wholesale industry is yet to fully embrace online ordering although this is growing. hence much of their business is done either face to face, by catalogue or by telephone.
With technology and innovative distribution systems evolving the need to update their very tired logo, stuck in the 70's style, is paramount to maintaining their professional image. The industry has been slow to go online and currently the company do not have a web site although this is very shortly to be designed, so the new logo will be the foundation of the new image both in print and online, from catalogues, invoicing, product promotion sell sheets and general marketing of their services to the trade.
Their old logo is attached, ughhhh ! Tacky greens and reds should be avoided. However more subtle use of green may be acceptable but they want to steer well away from the very basic design and colouring of old.
No specific colours have been requested and designers should use their creativity thinking about the industry they are in .. one that promotes health lifestyle and diet. many of the products they represent as wholesalers can be used as inspiration possibly.
Products they sell:
We would envisage a logo to the left or right of their Co name with the tag line placed probably underneath, but welcome to experiment.
The logo should represent health, good lifestyle, organic, natural etc etc to relate to the products they sell and the customers they service.
Text 'only' logos will not be acceptable. Whilst they are a service Co they are also a well established 'brand' in their industry so please try to create a brand feel if you can.
Regular daily feedback will be given to all designers. These that enter early will be in a strong position as the logo is likely to evolve as each day goes on .. so to enter last minute really will not be in your interest as we will respect the time and dedication designers place on re submitting improved versions.
We are based in Australia so generally ahead by 10-12 hrs USA so if we do not get back to you fast we are probably asleep :)
