The Canadian Foundry Association is an Industry Association that represents Canadian Manufacturers. These manufacturers are foundries and metal casters, which are companies that melt metals and make things out of metals. It would help you win the competition if you looked at the CFA's new website, because this is the website where the logo will appear: https://www.canadafoundries.org/ The logo will appear where it says "CFA" in the top of the menu/navbar.

We need a logo that matches the metallic, yet simple theme of this manufacturing website. IMPORTANT: We ALREADY have the logo concept in place. In this project, we simply need to modernize the already existing logo. You can see the old logo in the attachment. IMPORTANT: We need to KEEP the concept of the melting metal inside a maple leaf, and the melting metal should also form the stem of the leaf. However we need to modernized this concept. (Maybe adding some 3d metallic effect? It's not necessary, but just an idea.) We also need to REMOVE the CFA AFC letters inside the leaf, because the leaf/metal logo will simply sit beside the letters CFA. However, there is one other solution, where we try to FUSE the leaf and melting metal into the "C" or "A" of CFA so that we create a monogram with a symbol, all in one logo. This is not necessary, but its another option. So to summarize, we need either option 1: a symbol of a leaf with melting metal inside and this symbol sits beside the CFA monogram. option 2: the leaf and melting metal symbol is somehow fused into one of the letters of CFA. POSSIBLE TYPEFACES/FONTS WE LIKE TO BE USED: Please see attached the logo that we need to modernize. LAST IMPORTANT THING: The winner of this contest may be selected for MANY more logo projects based on our client list.
