Project Implicit exists both as a non-profit and an international research network of academic scientists. As a non-profit, Project Implicit disseminates knowledge about its research of implicit cognition - thoughts and feelings that exist outside of conscious awareness or conscious control - through a web-based Virtual Laboratory (https://implicit.harvard.edu/), lectures and training to organizations by members of Project Implicit, and consulting services for helping other researchers and organizations in business, education, health & medicine, law, and public services learn about and address issues of implicit bias.

Please, feel free to be creative and try lots of different approaches for your designs! We are not attached to our current logo and we'd love to see a variety of designs.
The logo redesign is the first step of a redesign of much of Project Implicit’s web presence. Next, we will redesign our (outdated and barely functional) information website (http://projectimplicit.net/) and then the main site - the virtual laboratory (https://implicit.harvard.edu/). Designers will get a very good impression of what Project Implicit is about by visiting the virtual laboratory, completing one or more demonstration tasks, and reading some of the background information. Also, you can get an impression of who is involved in Project Implicit and what they do by visiting some of the principal investigator’s websites: e.g., http://briannosek.com/ and http://faculty.washington.edu/agg/.
We will be providing frequent feedback as designs start coming in. Thanks!
