proven agile certifies knowledge about agility, its values and its correspondent methods. It adresses everybody that had a training in the field of agility or wants to have his knowledge certified.

It defines our brand and the promise we want to give with our brand: Proven.agile is an independent initiation of successful agilists from corporate practice, from the IT and non-IT sector. The aim of this institution is to allow the basic ideas of the Agile Manifesto to flow back into the testing questions and certification didactics without neglecting the basic rules, methods and practices of Scrum. It is therefore primarily about the first value of the Agile Manifesto "Individuals and interactions have priority over processes and tools". Currently, most certifications focus exclusively on processes and methods and distort the idea of the Agile Manifesto. This gives the impression that the aim is to replace one project management method with another. But that is not the point. Scrum should serve to make the potentials of individuality and interaction accessible - for faster, more effective, more customer-oriented and more innovative results. The first value of the Agile Manifesto thus aims at promoting the self-organisation of systems, which ultimately means an organisational change towards a more mature work culture. This potential, however, remains hidden when a Scrum Master loses sight of people out of a sense of technical duty. It is not the methods and processes that generate innovation, it is the human being. The methods and processes must serve the teams, not the other way around. With the certification of proven.agile, they gain the certainty of mastering all technical and methodical practices and at the same time being able to promote the potential development of systems - in other words, to really live the Agile Manifesto.
