The 3rd Quarter Gut Check is an inspirational podcast dedicated to helping people in their 40's, 50's and 60's to finally break free of the constraints of their job, family, spouse, etc. and to help them to pursue their passion. And in the process to help them turn avocation into vocation. In simpler words, to help them turn their passion, hobby or interest into a business opportunity. This could mean starting a band or learning to play an instrument, speak a new language, write a novel, write a screen play, start a business, take charge of your health, become a travel vlogger, become a painter, comedian or a poet or anything else that a person always had a passion for. Most people look for inspiration to tackle a new beginning in their lives. They want to write a book, start a band, start a business, learn how to play an instrument, travel the world, lose weight, etc. but fear, uncertainty and doubt usually prevent them from even getting started. These people may be in their late 40's, 50's and 60's or they may be millennials. The point of the show is to give them a little extra push to get them to take the leap and to once and for all put aside all fear, uncertainty and doubt aside and reach for the stars. Again, the image should convey hope, aspiration, inspiration, courage and strength but not necessarily victory. I like the way the words "3rd Quarter Gut Check with Doug Taylor" are laid out in images #26 and #6. The top part is the part I'm less happy with. The image should convey hope, inspiration, aspiration, courage, strength but not necessarily victory. Alternatively, there could be no image at all. Maybe turn the words to make it a stand alone badge? I'm looking for something more "badge like" or "beer bottle label" or like a concert t-shirt. Designers like: pmo, Timall68, doniel, Richi_Barba, Affan2fly, Cadzart and frantic all have something about what they're doing that I see working for this contest. Hopefully this makes sense and points you in the right direction. Thanks for checking out my contest.
