In principle I would love for someone to improve the cheesy example provided "take it to the next level" (need that exact Clarendon font) , 'G" inclined as shown, the leaf coming out of inside the letter "G" (could a flower eg: "hibiscus" or a hummingbird be a better fit?) although a green leaf is what I had in mind. (should the leaf be pointing the other way? could it be modernistic or more stylish?)
RGV the Rio Grande Valley is already a highly recognized acronym (google it) nested in South Texas, lush semi-tropical area best birding location in the world, citrus galore (hence Ruby Red) , farming, south Padre beaches, lots of Palms trees...Hispanic flavored location (but is not necessary that influence the design)
logo needs to work good with in black with a white background and viceversa.
Does the famous and iconic LOVE sculpture (NY) ring a bell?
Colors Glossy?acrylic? translucent like color glass? CHROME comes to mind...
Prefered color sequence:
R; Royal Blue
G: Ruby red
4th element: Royal Blue (the .com black? for contrast )
Leaf : Lime green
The idea even that I am being very specific with the colors is that with the seasons and special occasions I could use different colors and schemes inside the letters ( eg: ice freezing snowy colors in winter, stars and stripes in Patriotic holidays) what it needs to be "recognizable memorable iconic ' with respect to the the design of the letters and the 4th element the Dot Com (.com)..why the 4 element? because I believe in proportions...
Could the rhomboid be improved? changed? flattened ?and used in top of the V on the Linear version? remember a 4th element (with the .com) is needed for the Blocked version.
in addition of requiring :both a linear version & a stacked version.
(should the letters be touching? LOVE )
And if you feel I don't make sense perhaps is because I am an extreme case of "right brain" very impractical person so ask questions if you need ...
You could also do your own thing/design following your instinct and intuition based on what I wrote, perhaaps I am asking to much but I am open to see your own idea...
