We are a retail brick and mortar sewing shop. We sell and service household sewing machines, sell notions and fabrics, sewing furniture and ironing systems, to name a few. We also have a robust educational component to what we do, offering more than 150 sessions of classes every trimester - classes for every age, children and adults, and offer classes in fashion, accessories, fashion illustration, leather, quilting and home decor.

Diseño de inspiración
We're working on a full rebranding of our image. We're moving toward a turn of the century late 1800s early 1900s feel - classic and timeless. Think "mercantile". The logos provided above give a sense of the direction we're going, and I like that the silhouette is not brand specific but has some interest, and definitely reads sewing. I like "movement" in design, and flourish. When people see our new logo, I'm hopeful that it will read what we do. (Our primary business is selling sewing machines.) Our new website will have a feel akin to http://www.merchantandmills.com. The images below reflect logos we've had done. The Zig Zag is our most current, followed by the brush outline. The first logo was the painted sewing machine and quilt.
