We are a non profit organization dedicated to providing blind and visually impaired people with the tools and resources they need to lead independent, productive lives. We do this primarily through our grant making programs, and "partnering" with our grantee organizations to help them deliver the best programs, services and resources.

Please note that our audience includes many visually impaired people. Therefore, the logo design must work for this audience. Do NOT use the color red. Please make sure there is contrast. We have used reflex blue in the past.

It has a little bit of whimsy, yet is easy to read.
Quick to grasp. Nice, modern design.
Easy to read. Simple design.
Easy to grasp. Very legible. Simple. Clean. Minimalist, but you get it right away.
The subtlety of incorporating the baking element (with the rolling pin.)
This one is a little more whimsical. Not enough contrast for our audience, but I liked the modern design of the pear. The "prickly pear" font would not work for us. Too hard to read, for people who are visually impaired.
simplicity. But it's also a little boring, and maybe too scary, now that I think about it. :0)
Easy to read. Modern design.
We have a logo that is "old and tired" and we want it updated. Our current logo hearkens back to our original affiliation with the Reader's Digest Association. (The famous "cupola" on top of the old building.) We no longer desire that association in our logo. Because we work with visually impaired people, design specs are very important. The logo must have high contrast from a color perspective. Fonts must be legible - not fancy, no serifs, no drop caps, etc. Many visually impaired people cannot see the color red, so do not use red. The words "Reader's Digest" can be downplayed in the logo, and the words "Partners for Sight Foundation" can be prominent. You can delete the word "Foundation" if that works better for the design.
