Rojo – The Spanish word for Red We came up with the name as the main feature of the venue is a Red Granite Bar. Other links to the word red come from the local area being the largest producer of Red Gum timber in the world. We wanted a name that was short, catchy and appealed to our younger demographic. Who is Rojo? Rojo loves Sports. Rojo loves Music. Rojo loves to drink and eat. Rojo is a bar in Echuca, Victoria Australia, whose target market is 18-30 year olds. Rojo plays live sports on multiple TVs and is a huge supporter of local sporting clubs. Rojo also has live music and DJ’s playing on the weekends. Rojo thinks of himself as a trendy sort of guy who can attract the ladies but still be one of the guys. What does Rojo’s Logo need to do? Rojo’s logo will be seen all around town, in print and digital signage so it needs to stand out, especially to the 18-30 year old market. It will also be used on T-Shirts and other promotional products so we want to limit the printing (or at least be able to modify to) three colours. We think that it needs to obviously have a bit of red in it, and some dark grey, and yellow as these are the other colours used in the decor of the venue. The feel of the Logo. Because our target market is 18-30 year olds, the logo needs to have a modern trendy feel to it.
